My Yahoo mail and Yahoo IM just went off at the same time. They have been down for about 10 minutes. Anyone else down?
Is Yahoo IM and Yahoo email down for anyone?

(Page 2)22. Anyone have any experience with YahooPops for Mac 10.3.4? How to compile correctly, for example?
It's a cool idea and I'd love to get it running.
Am somewhat proficient with nix command line, but mainly only for server administrative access. Not so much for compiling. Anyone have a few seconds to lend an incontinent old geezer a hand here? Thanks!

25. I'm wondering if the problem is more Microsoft than anything, as I've been able to access mail and navigate from My Yahoo by lauching AOL browser and going through that. Given that this AOL account is a free temporary service, which ends tomorrow [!!], I'm hoping Yahoo gets it's act together soon. I haven't gotten any Yahoo announcement to my alternative email account announcing any fix, but I am waiting with baited breath. Also wondering if regional? I can navigate all over Yahoo from AOL browser and people [somewhere!!] are playing games, chatting, etc. All seems normal on the yahoo network.....except, of course, for us.

26. Does anyone know how to contact yahoo for help, response, etc....? I can not access the Help area either... I'd also like to see them publicly acknowledge the problem; anywhere where this has been reported besides here?

28. I haven't been able to access my Yahoo mail for two days now. Yahoo Groups appears to be down too. Does anyone know how to find out what's going on?
I think I'm going to can Yahoo Mail Plus when my renewal comes up. Why pay for something without paying customer support?

29. As I've been able to access and use all of Yahoo services through an AOL browser, just not through IE, thought I'd be a smarty pants and download Opera to see if that worked. NOT. Now I'm going to disconnect my cable and see if I can function around Yahoo through my free Juno telephone modem account.

30. Was able to access and use all Yahoo features by using free dial up account through Juno. Sent emails to myself and all my various Yahoo email accounts [and responded, how sick is that?]. Interestingly, cannot use Yahoo features if I access Yahoo through Juno through my cable connection via IE browser.....neeeded to connect directly to Juno through phone to get to a working Yahoo. Maybe this will help any of you who, like me, need a working Yahoo email tomorrow for work.

34. I have not had access to yahoo plus mail for two days. Does anyone know if this is a regional problem, or a yahoo plus problem, or specific to cable modem/DSL or just 'luck of the draw'? I have a friend in Maine who uses AOL dial-up and is having no problem with her yahoo mail or yahoo groups. I can not access either. I have also tried to access my yahoo mail by setting it up using microsoft outlook, and I'm pretty sure I've set it up correctly but it also won't work. I'm wondering if this is indeed a DOS problem, or a yahoo outage based on some common demoninator. I'm also very surprised by the lack of imformation I can find, and very disappointed by the dismal response on Yahoo's part. Shame on them. The only good thing to come of this is that I've learned about these blog sites! :-)

36. I couldn't find any Yahoo mail info anywhere, I tried newgroups with no luck. This site is great!
As for Yahoo Mail Plus - after this mess and with 100 megs on the free accounts, I wont be renewing my Plus account. Why can't Yahoo even post a system status message on their website?!?!

38. I'm glad to finally come across a site where people are talking about this!! Not that it is doing much good. Still can't get into my Yahoo mail, and it has been two whole days. I got into my account I think on Friday, but yesterday and today - nothing. Like many of the people who have posted, I am confused as to why Yahoo hasn't made any statement on its main page about the problem. At least I know it isn't just me. It took me forever to find this conversation. I was starting to feel very isolated and alone. P.S. I don't like the new Yahoo email set-up, and if that is what is causing this problem, I am very disappointed.

39. Found this note posted on Yahoo Message Boards:
"This has something to do with the mail upgrade. In the meanwhile you can use their mobile site to access Yahoo mail at mobile.yahoo.com/mail
You do not need a mobile device to go this page. IE will handle it."
-=-=-=-=-=-
It worked for me. You might have to click links more than once if they don't work the first time.
Here's the link for Yahoo Message Boards where Ifound the above note -
