1. Seriously, what do the rest of us have to do to get in on this beta! It's driving me nuts. I got on the list in like November and nothing! Even a tenative release date would be welcome so that I can stop eagle eyeing my mail page in the hopes of seeing the elusive notice that I've been included.

Or I could get a life. That, however, seems cumbersome and unlikely.

2. Y! Mail Beta is open to all Y! Mail Plus users - so you can buy your way in for $20 a year (and you get the 2GB No Ads personal Spamguard Plus).

They are rolling it to some free accounts - that is ad-supported, and the early reports from people with that version indicate there is some work to be done to make the ads less intrusive.

3. Kyle - Bro' I feel your pain. But I have no answer for you unfortunately. I do know that during January, many more were brought into the beta phase. If you haven't already, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/y-mail where you can see as much as is possible without actually being in the beta phase.
