1. Yep, pretty lame considering DSL users are paying extra fees to yahoo. They should be among the first people getting access. All in all the premier status associated with DSL-Yahoo isn't that great.

2. We use the SBC Yahoo DSL Pro. Never once seen a glimpse of the Mail Beta..and never seen the Photomail option either. It says 'rest assured, you will see this soon.' it has said that for approximately one year.

3. I have Y! Verizon and was tickled to see a tabbed Y! Browser as part of the associated software offering. As a Y! Plus user, I only had access to the cheesy Y! Browser circa 2003 (e.g. its toolbar is full of dead links). I can launch PhotoMail within the Y! Browser or IE (not available for Firefox yet) within the original Y! Mail UI - not when using the beta of course.

..where does it say this? what about Photomail? Will we see the proposed redo of the Y! home page, as well as Photos? I am very disappointed in the lack of attention to the interface that WE pay an EXTRA amount for. PAY more....GET less.

6. It doesn't say it anywhere. I'm telling you based on what I've heard from people working with the product.

Also, the excitement and interest in the new products is understandable, but also understand that they're BETA... and risks don't want to be taken to prematurely release a BETA product to people who PAY for their services.

7. I got an email about a month ago stating the beta was near for me, but I haven't heard anything more. I am using a standard yahoo account. Anyone esle in the same boat?

9. Thanks for the info, Chris. I am a SBC Yahoo! DSL customer, and I was wondering what was going on. There's no option in our mail to get on the Beta waiting list, as there is in a regular Yahoo mail account. I think that's a bummer.

However, I was able to get the Photomail using IE, as I created a regular (non-SBC) Yahoo account and then downloaded the Photomail. It is also now in my SBC Yahoo account, since it was downloaded onto my computer.
