Although nothing is mentioned on
the del.icio.us blog, my Firefox Update showed a new release of the official del.icio.us extension today. This new version is v1.1When upated and a restart of Firefox, you are taken to a page that announces a successful install. From the Changelog, this looks to have added a set of shortcut keys.
It's not yet updated on the Mozilla Extensions site, but if you have a previous install you should be able to upgrade. If not, it can be downloaded directly from here.
