Yahoo! shows up at the top of the chart for search engines and Yahoo Mail grabs the top telecom/internet services
site on a Weekly NetView and AdRelevance data study from
Nielsen/NetRatings. It's interesting to note that even with half the volume, the time spent on AOL is more than all others. Slow users? ;-)
This ranking is in sharp contrast to Yahoo!'s meager 21% share a year ago as measured by the same folks.

1. Yahoo! ranked as top search engine.......Really?
What are they smoking? Yahoo search results are awful, more often than not and their search result pages are busy and cramped, being more full of spam than most other search engines.
Maybe with the Arrival of Andre Broder (who used to work at IBM, though I never directly spoke with him, I was in the same room a couple of times) will improve the search results . On the other hand, Broder has the opinion that 30% of all search results is about sex....so maybe he'll feel right at home at Yahoo.
