Yahoo! 360 blogging site brings home its first progress reports

Recently a blog post asks why Yahoo! 360° is noticably absent from the cross-selling done by Yahoo!. In that same post, a BlogPulse graph shows the number of MSN Spaces (not MySpace) blog posts outnumber the blog posts by Yahoo! users by about 500%. I point out in this post's comments that many Yahoo! 360° users place their blog posts as private and therefore outside the reach of this measure - one of the unique values of Yahoo! 360° over other options.

In a contrary statement, a Search Engine Journal post by Greg Sterling contains a graph of visit counts which shows Yahoo! 360° in a relatively good position at #5 behind MySpace, TheFaceBook, Xanga, and TheFaceBook-HS. MSN Spaces trails (very closely) Yahoo! 360° in 6th position.

Yahoo! 360° Team member Ernie H. blogs about his own complaints of Yahoo! 360°. As interesting is the conversations which occur in the comments to his post. In all this, you may note that a new release is coming "very soon."
